1) Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. 2) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. 3) Translate design documents into high quality code.
Qualifications 1) Solid understanding of Java language. 2) Experience in software development with a strong command of object oriented principles. 3) At least 3 years experience with Android development. 4) Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. 5) Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices. 6) Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON to connect Android applications to back-end services. 7) Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. 8) Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
