Operations Officer
JOB PURPOSE / ROLE
To process a range of administrative operations, carry out reconciliations and compile reports as required in a timely, smooth and efficient manner ensuring error-free processing, adherence to internal procedures and provision of a high-quality service to internal and external customers.

Operations Processing

Processes data entries, reconciliations and inquiries originated from business areas in a timely manner and obtains necessary approvals when required to ensure a high level of customer service is provided to internal and external customers

Updates and maintains records database on a regular basis to ensure facilitated retrieval, validity and accuracy of data

Liaises with originating business areas to resolve issues of incomplete or incorrect input data, transactions and applications

Ensures the accuracy of transactions so that accounts may be reconciled and financial loss to the bank is avoided

Reconciles accounts according to defined timescales to ensure the accuracy of transaction processing

Resolves minor processing and reconciliation issues to ensure that operational accuracy, compliance and efficiency is maintained

Performs the day-to-day administration support and maintains updated computerized records of a specific area of operation activities to ensure smooth flow of activities and high productivity

Provides administrative support including organizing files and documents, researching issues, taking minutes, tracking action item completion, and managing other administrative requirements as assigned from supervisor.

Basic knowledge of operations processing in area of responsibility.

Good understanding of Riyad Bank main processing systems.

Basic knowledge of SAMA and other applicable rules and regulations.

Language:

English: Intermediate

Regional HR Officer

Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work
Supports in the assessment of the organization structure against the strategy of the Bank to ensure the right functions and roles are in place supporting effectively the implementation of the strategy
Conducts job analysis in order to identify the content of the job description in terms of accountabilities, responsibilities, qualifications, etc. and ensure the same is in line with the organization structure and needs of the function
Participates in the evaluation and grading of all jobs within the Bank according to a world recognized job evaluation system to establish a fair relation among jobs
Provides support in conducting manpower planning by coordinating with functions on their requirements in order to ensure their needs are taken into consideration in the manpower plan and budget
Supports in coordinating with functions on recruitment needs and identify whether there are suitable internal available resources to fill vacant positions to facilitate a culture of internal transfers/ promotions
Supports in the search of candidates using external recruitment agencies, social media etc. in order to prepare a list of suitable candidates against the needs of the respective functions
Keeps the CV database up to date in order to ease the usability of the CVs for recruitment
Supports in conducting the psychometric testing process, interviews and assessments (for external candidates), as well as selection methods adopted in order to ensure effective and timely completion of the process
Prepares and submits all required employee documents for new hires and executes the orientation programs, to support the accurate implementation of the on-boarding process
Provides support in identifying training needs, designing training programs, delivering training etc. in order to ensure the training programs are effectively designed/ selected to match the needs of attendees
Coordinates with external training providers in order to request list of training offerings, their credentials, quotations etc.
Supports in identifying the likely career paths of roles and staff in order to provide a clear progression ladder for staff
Maintains the database of staff including their training needs, completed training programs, scheduled training programs, career paths etc. in order to enable a better management of the Bank’s talent
Supports in all HR-related matters mainly relating to recruitment, staff affairs, training and development, etc.
Acts as the focal point of contact in the regions for HR-related inquires
Supports in identifying manpower requirements, identifying training needs, providing staff with training schedules and ensures staff attends their training, preparing CVs for recruitment, setting up appointments for interviews, follows up with recruitment candidates, providing new recruits with an induction, etc.
Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Riyad Bank to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
Performs other related duties or assignments as directed

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
