Chief Accountant jobs dec2014

Urgently required for a big Engineering company the following position:
Title: Chief Accountant
1. Responsible for submitting financial statements and cost center reports.
2. Closely maintains and monitors the fixed assets system.
3. Applies cost accounting methods to achieve accurate representation of cost center performance.

4. Coordinates monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
5. Work with both internal and external auditors during financial audits.
6. Maintains system of accounts and keep records on all company transactions and assets.
7. Report, analyze, and ensure integrity of all financial information.
8. Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, cost centers and documents business transactions.
9. Coordinate monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
10. Responsible for all taxes obligations.
11. Familiar with all governmental authorities/ Tax authority.

Job requirements:

1. BSc. Of commerce, Major Accounting.
2. 8+ years of experience.
3. Experience in working with ERP financial package
4. CMA is an advantage.
5. Strong Organizational and Analytical skills.
6. Strong leadership and management skills.
7. Strong oral and written communication skills.
