For a leading Technology and IT company located in Qatar:
“Senior Microsoft BI Developers”
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
– Deliver Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions utilizing the Microsoft Business Intelligence platform.
-Design, define and document Business Intelligence solutions, conducting technical requirement meetings, workshops, conference calls, discussion

forums and related meetings.

– Estimate time allowance against prospect projects.

– Lead a team of Business Intelligence developer on high profile projects.

– Assist in the hands on development of customized solutions focused on BI.

– Involved in data modeling based on business requirements, and optimization of data models for Business Intelligence implementations.

– The candidate will serve on project teams that deliver high-quality business intelligence projects to clients.

– Consultant may work on multiple projects simultaneously.

– Lead project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project data and coordinating team meetings.

– Develop customer relationships and communicate effectively with any client.

– Provide thought leadership and innovation within projects and practice areas.

– Participate in business and strategy development.

Key Skills / Attributes Required:

– 7 plus years’ experience in the Business intelligence field.

– Significant and recent development experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence skills including SSRS, SSIS and SSAS, SQL Server 2000/ 2005/

2008.

– Recent development experience in .NET is highly desired

– Strong knowledge in ETL and its performance tuning OLAP Cubes.

– Strong knowledge in MDX.

– Proven experience in Performance Point services and Excel Services.

– Outstanding knowledge of SharePoint 2010.

– A good knowledge of other Business Intelligence and database technologies such as Oracle, Business Objects and Cognos.

– Experience with multiple phases of the SDLC.

– Ability to read and understand technical documents written in English or Arabic.

– A team player but equally able to work with direction.

– An effective communicator, one that is confident in your technical abilities and who is able to verbally demonstrate them.

– A free thinker who can bring new ideas to the table and demonstrate well thought out plans to execute them if appropriate.

– Desire to learn new software products as they are released and to critique them as requested.

– Keen eye for details in the code areas.

– Dedication and focus to delivering projects.

– Self-motivation.

– A potential leader with ideas and vision for future work.

– Agile and flexible in the approach.

– Not afraid to discuss new theories and ideas

– Knowledge of projects in the education domain.

Key Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information systems, Software Engineering or a related area is preferred.

– Microsoft certifications are a plus.
