JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: HVAC Trainer Department: Mechanical

I. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Present lectures and conduct discussions to students according to class schedule. Use of visual aids, such as graphs, charts, videotapes, and PowerPoint slides is required to deliver knowledge and increase competence.

• Prepare outlines of instructional programs and training schedules and fulfill course goals.

• Plans and supervises work of students, individually or in small groups, in shop or laboratory & monitor the use of tools and equipment.

• Provide individualized instruction and tutorial during workshop and lab work

• Tests and evaluates achievement of student in technical knowledge and trade skills to determine progress, provide feedback, and make suggestions for improvement.

• Administer oral, written, or performance tests to measure progress and to evaluate training effectiveness.

• Prepare reports and maintain records such as student grades, attendance rolls, and training activity details.

• Conduct on-the-job training classes or training sessions to teach and demonstrate principles, techniques, procedures, or methods of designated subjects.

• Select or develop teaching aids such as books, materials, supplies, multimedia visual aids, or study materials.

• Serve on institute committees when needed, such as, curriculum revision, workshop equipments or course requirements.

II. EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS and WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

Skills
– At least 3 years’ experience as an HVAC Trainer in a Technical Institute/Vocational School
– English language and computer familiarity is a must.
– Arabic language is referable.

Education
– Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with concentration on HVAC.
