Purchasing Specialist /Engineering background required for Safeco Group located in Nasr City
Responsibilities:
Reviews markets, price & delivery conditions, and trends to determine present and future materials availability.
Receives and evaluates quotations, forwards to users.
Processes and releases Purchase orders on approved / specified vendors.
Follows policies and procedures established by the Manager and monitors activates of purchasing clerks
Processes purchase order claims and contracts as per company policy.
Contacts suppliers / vendors when variations arise in delivery, quality , price , or conditions of sale.
Liaises between suppliers / Manufactures and relevant internal departments.
Under the guidance of MMD manager, Purchase follows departmental quid lines and selects vendors on basis of price, capability, and past performance.
Ensure efficient utilization of work force and maintains staffing levels based on company standards.
