An Intellectual Property firm is hiring:

  1.  Administrative Officer

    • Quality checks. This will involve review/cross-checking of documents, including applications, decisions, publications and certificates.
    • Maintaining accurate database records through daily updates.
    • Internal reminders to i team in advance of deadlines.
    • Following up with outside agents on status of applications and updating database accordingly.
    • Review outside agents’ invoices to ensure the cost is within the estimates provided and approve invoices accordingly.
    • Assist formalities team from time to time in processing filings, acceptances and publications.
    • Assist team with other tasks when required, including cost estimates, required documentation and matter opening.

Requirements:

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree to be considered for this position. Work experience is not a must.

Skills required are:

• The ability to multitask and prioritise is essential. The candidate will have a lot of assignments that need their attention simultaneously.
• Organising skills. Administrative Officers must maintain organized diaries to manage work flow. Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ethical skills and professionalism.
• Detailed oriented. Administrative Officers should have a very good eye on details.
• Can fluently understand, speak and write both English and Arabic.
• Communication skills, both in writing and verbally.
• Work very well under pressure.
• Can work both in a team and individually.-

2).    Translator

Provide translation and administrative support to all members of the team.

  1. • Translation of documents from and to English and Arabic and French is a plus, including correspondence, court memoranda and judgments, invoices, evidence, complaints and other procedural documents.
    • Receiving and making calls to clients, Court, Law firms, Counsels Chambers, third parties etc.
    • Audio and copy typing, making amendments to documents in English, Arabic and French.
    • Drafting letters and emails.
    • Researching on the Internet.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years related experience is a must.
• Good communication skills with different departments.
• Patient, detail-minded, takes initiative and self-disciplined.
• Can work under pressure, a team player;
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
• Successful candidates will be highly focused with strong attention to detail; have excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment skills; be able to prioritize workload; be flexible; and possess solid written and oral communication skills.
